(Our itinerary may change due to unforeseen events, but this is what we’re planning, plus a few more things!)
Families of two or three will have one room, and larger families will split into multiple rooms for two and three people. For example, a family of four would stay in two rooms, with two people in each room. A family of five would stay in two rooms, with two in one room, and three in another. (We’ll request nearby rooms for families who need multiple rooms, but they’re not guaranteed.)
Rooms for three are harder to come by, so the sooner you register, the sooner I’ll be able to lock in all the triples we need for our group. A limited number of single rooms are available at an additional cost.
Food Allergies, Special Needs
Make sure you list any food allergies or other special needs (physical, educational, dietary, etc.) on your registration form. I’ll check to see if your needs can be accommodated before you mail payment. (No money will be refunded or special accommodations will be made due to allergies or other special needs if you don’t tell me about them when you register.)
Roundtrip airfare to Paris (arriving on May 11* and departing on May 20) is not included in the price. We’ll use bus transportation most of the time while touring France.
*Most international flights are overnight, so you’ll probably need to depart on Wednesday, May 10 to arrive in Paris to start our tour on Thursday, May 11. Don’t purchase airfare until I confirm the trip and provide more details about transfers, tour times, etc.
Cost and What’s Included
The cost of this trip is $2,250 per person. This includes airport transfers, hotels, transportation in France, breakfast each day, five group dinners, and all admissions on our itinerary.
This price does not include airfare, any extra tours you do on your own, any meals other than those listed above, trip insurance, and tips for our tour manager, local guides, and bus driver.
Payment Schedule, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
A $500-per-person, non-refundable deposit, plus the September payment of $500 per person, and November payment of $500 per person is due within 7 days of your registration confirmation.
A final payment of $750 per person is due on January 31, 2017.
The $500 per person deposit is not refundable for any reason. Subsequent payments are refundable only if I have a family on my waiting list to replace you up through January 31, 2017. After January 31, 2017, no replacements, roster changes, or refunds will be made.
Your signed waiver, registration form, and payment acknowledges your understanding and agreement with my cancellation and refund policy.
This trip may be cancelled if we don’t have enough registrations. If it is, I’ll refund all payments made to me. However, you’re responsible for your airfare and any cancellation penalties the airlines charge, so please wait until I confirm the trip before you purchase non-refundable airfare.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.
