Join us at Universal Orlando and enjoy five fun-filled days at Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, and Epic Universe! (Add Volcano Bay if you’re joining us in May!)

Trip Dates

Spring 2026: May 1-10
Registration: Open, ends March 31

Fall 2026: November 7-16
Registration: Will open soon, last day to register is September 30

May 2026

  • Dates: May 1-10
  • Tickets: 5 park days, 4 parks, park-to-park, including Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Epic Universe, Volcano Bay
  • Price: $352
  • Price includes all taxes and fees. There are no hidden charges. Payment is made through my online payment platform (debit/credit).
  • All park days must be used within 7 days, beginning May 1 and ending May 10. The clock starts ticking the first day you use your ticket, and you’ll have 6 days left to use remaining park days. Tickets will expire after May 10, even if you haven’t used all of your park days. Remaining days on partially used tickets are non-refundable.
  • To provide additional clarification – our tickets can’t be used before May 1 or after May 10. If you first use your ticket on May 7 or later, you won’t be able to use all five days on your ticket because it expires after May 10. If you first use your ticket on May 1, you’ll have 6 more days to use the remaining 4 days on your ticket. In that case, your tickets will expire after May 7 (due to the 7-day rule).
  • Tickets will be digital/mobile, accessible through the Universal Orlando Resort App. A cell phone will be required to access your tickets and enter the parks. You won’t get printed tickets.
  • Weather: Warmer, more humid, and more rain than in November, but better for Volcano Bay.

November 2026

  • Dates: November 7-16
  • Tickets: 5 park days, 3 parks, park-to-park, including Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Epic Universe, but NOT Volcano Bay
  • Price: $318
  • The ticket price includes all taxes and fees. There are no hidden charges. Payment is made through my online payment platform (debit/credit).
  • All park days must be used within 7 days, beginning November 7 and ending November 16. The clock starts ticking the first day you use your ticket, and you’ll have 6 days left to use remaining park days. Tickets will expire after November 16, even if you haven’t used all of your park days. Remaining days on partially used tickets are non-refundable.
  • To provide additional clarification – our tickets can’t be used before November 7 or after November 16. If you first use your ticket on November 13 or later, you won’t be able to use all five days on your ticket because it expires after November 16. If you first use your ticket on November 7, you’ll have 6 more days to use the remaining 4 days on your ticket. In that case, your tickets will expire after November 13 (due to the 7-day rule).
  • Tickets will be digital/mobile, accessible through the Universal Orlando Resort App. A cell phone will be required to access your tickets and enter the parks. You won’t get printed tickets.
  • Weather: Cooler, less humid, less chance of rain. (This trip is during hurricane season, but the likelihood of a hurricane is lower than other months in the season.)
  • Universal Happenings: Christmas/holiday feel due to Christmas decorations and activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do your tickets include tax?

Ticket prices include all taxes and fees.

Is there any cost for children ages 2 and under?

Children ages 2 and under don’t need a ticket, so they’re free. (Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate with you in case proof of age is needed at the gate.)

Are the tickets discounted?

Yes, they’re significantly discounted. As of 11/1/2025, our May tickets are discounted $283+ per ticket and our November tickets are discounted $241+ per ticket.

(You can figure your exact discount by going to the Universal Orlando ticket webpage, selecting Explore All Tickets, then select your number of days, number of parks, park-to-park option, and clicking through the screens until you get the total price, including tax.)

Will everyone in my party get the discounted tickets?

Everyone in your party will get the discounted tickets, but each family unit must order tickets separately (grandparents, single aunt/uncle, adult siblings can be included on your registration).

Ask others in your travel party (sister’s family, best friends and their children, etc.), to order tickets separately and note that they’re your guests in the comments section of their registration.

These tickets are really cheap – almost too good to be true. Can I trust you?

I could provide references from families who’ve traveled with me since I began doing these trips in 2006, but the references could be faked.

Instead, read my About page to find out more about me, then do a search of “Carolina Homeschooler trips” (our sister site where these trips originated) and “Traveling Homeschooler trips.” If I’ve cheated anyone, it’ll be all over the internet.

My “Traveling Homeschoolers” name is newer, created in 2016 to differentiate between my local member trips, and trips that are open to everyone, so search both names.

You can also get a sense of who I am and what I do if you follow me on Facebook and read comments and feedback from my 41,000+ followers, and read the Featured post, where close to 200 travelers have shared feedback regarding my trustworthiness.

It’s too stressful to pay for any of my trips if you don’t trust me, so research before you order tickets.

Is the price per day?

It’s per ticket, not per day. (The price includes all five days.)

What dates are our tickets valid for?

See each trip’s details above for ticket validity dates and the “7-Day Rule.”

Will the price increase if Universal raises ticket prices in 2026?

Our ticket prices are locked in regardless of 2026 price increases.

Do you offer payment plans? Do you accept debit or credit cards? What payment methods do you accept?

I don’t offer payment plans for this trip. Your debit or credit card will be charged when you submit your registration. I don’t accept any other payment methods for this trip.

Will you run out of tickets? Is there a reservation system for visiting the parks?

There is currently no limit on tickets, and Universal doesn’t have a park reservation system.

Will tickets be mailed to us?

I will email ticket numbers to you (you won’t get physical tickets). You’ll upload your ticket numbers to the Universal Orlando Resort App before your travel date. A cell phone will be required to access your tickets and enter the parks.

Are there any group events or meetups at Universal this year? Is there a required group event to qualify for these tickets?

Attendance at a group event is not required to qualify for our Universal tickets. We currently don’t have any group events or meetups planned for 2026.

You offered 3-day tickets in the past. Why don’t you offer them now?

In order to streamline (and plan more trips!), I’m only offering 5-day tickets moving forward. The price difference between 3- and 5-day tickets is only around $20 or less (depending on ticket type). If you plan to stay fewer than 5 days, you can use the extra days to see the fireworks on your arrival day and/or catch a couple of your favorite rides before you leave on your departure day without feeling like you’re wasting money/park days.

Are you planning any more Universal trips in 2026?

Our May and November trips are the only ones planned for 2026.

Why do you offer Volcano Bay in May, but not November?

I add Volcano Bay in May since the weather is warmer and there are usually no closures. I don’t include Volcano Bay for my November trip due to the cooler weather and potential closures.

How do we get lockers for rides that require them if we don’t have physical tickets?

Universal team members stationed at the rides have “locker tickets” available for anyone who needs them. They’re also testing a new photo validation option where you won’t need tickets.

Does the ticket price include rooms? Will you have discounted group hotels in 2026?

The ticket price doesn’t include rooms. I haven’t booked group rooms for us in 2026 because the discounts either weren’t worthwhile or didn’t exist. In some cases, the group rate was actually higher than what you can get by calling Universal directly.

If we stay onsite at a Universal Resort, can we get the Early Admission perks with these tickets?

Early Admission is tied to your resort stay, not your tickets. You’ll get Early Admission through your hotel room key (if you stay at a Universal hotel).

If we stay onsite at a Universal Premium Resort that includes the Express Passes, how do we get the pass without physical tickets?

As with Early Admission, the Premium Resort Express Pass benefit is through your hotel room key, not your tickets.

Can we add Express Passes? Do we get Express Passes if we stay at a Universal hotel?

You can add Express Passes (extra cost) for either of our trips.

As of 11/1/2025, the following Universal hotels include Express Passes: Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort.

Can these tickets be upgraded to annual passes?

Our tickets cannot be upgraded to annual passes.

If I register for the May trip and want to change to November, can I transfer my tickets?

Tickets can’t be transferred to other trips. You’ll have to cancel and reorder tickets for November.

What happens if there’s a hurricane?

June 1 through November 30 is hurricane season in Florida. Depending on the timeframe of our tickets, Universal may not make accommodations if a hurricane hits during that time. I’ll do my best on your behalf if a hurricane affects your stay, but there are no guarantees. Please register with this in mind.
