Off Property Meals

Recommended Posts

Jessica French

Hi! Any suggestions for off property meals? In our previous trips we have ended up with the Dining Plan, so we have never really ventured off property before. We do love Character Dining, but on days we do not have any lined up, we are open to trying other places. Are there any restaurants you would recommend that are budget and family friendly (4 kiddos, ages span 4 - 11 years)? We plan on staying on Disney Property for the November 2019 trip. Thanks!

Hi Jessica,   Sweet Tomatoes is an all you can eat buffet and is my favorite place to eat. https://sweettomatoes.com/

It is located at 12561 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32836 which is very close to Disney.  You can sign up for their club to receive coupons.

Waffle house is also a Southern Favorite. https://www.wafflehouse.com/

They serve tradition breakfast and dinner foods. It is also located close to Disney. It is not a fancy restaurant, but the food has always been delicious.

Other restaurants in the area are : Noodles and Company, CiCis Pizza buffet, TGI Fridays,  Buffalo Wild Wings.

There are so some great restaurants in Disney Springs: Earl of Sandwich, Rain forest Cafe, T-Rex Cafe.

Have a magical trip in November!  -Beth

I meant to answer this earlier and forgot!

In addition to the recommendations about, there's are many restaurants on Irlo Bronson Blvd: Golden Corral, Texas RoadHouse, Panera's, Long Horn, a Japanese Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and many others.

Warmly,
Dianna

Oh, and we've found Cracker Barrel to be more budget-friendly than many of the others. Golden Corral, too.

If you go before 4:00 pm (roundabouts - check websites for the restaurants you're interested in), you'll get lunchtime pricing instead of dinner pricing, which helps a lot!

Warmly,

Dianna
