Here is the trip description and registration link:

Is the price quoted per family, or per person?

The price is per person.

Are spots still available for this trip? How do I get on the waiting list?

We're at our max, but I'm accepting waitlist registrations, please submit a registration form as you normally would. A $250 per-family  deposit is required to confirm your spots on the waiting list. (I'll send you an email with payment information after I receive your registration.)

NOTE: It’s difficult to determine where families are on the waiting list. Not everyone on the list will follow through if offered spots, so even if there are 10 (or 100) families ahead of you, you may actually be the next family on the list. Also note:

  • If spots come available, your deposit will be applied to your total.
  • If spots don't come available by November 30, or I have to cancel the trip due to COVID-19, your deposit will be refunded in full.
  • If you decide not to go after being offered spots, your deposit will not be refunded.

Can we opt out of the hotel, specific tours, etc.?

This is a package deal, so you won't receive a refund if you opt out of any hotel, site, or tour on this trip.

Can you tell us what hotels we'll be using? What's our day-to-day itinerary?

Things may change as we get closer to our travel dates, so I have to wait to share hotel information, itinerary, etc. I've chosen hotels that I think would be a good fit for our group, and I've upgraded where possible. However, I've never personally been to these hotels, and standards in Peru may not be the same as they are here. Our rooms may be smaller, service may not be as good, etc. That said, I think we'll be pleased with most (hopefully all) of them.

Does your website list everything we're doing?

My website lists most of what we're doing, but I may be able to add things here and there. The itinerary is subject to change, regardless.

How is this trip different from your other trips?

I plan and operate most of my trips, but am partnering with an outside company for our Peru trip. I don't have complete control over the details, but have customized the trip as much as possible to enhance the experience for our group.

I have a larger family and have very young children. Can we all share one room?

The hotels we're using allows up to three people per room. If you have more than three people in your party, you'll have multiple rooms, and at least one adult must sleep in each room. This trip is limited to ages 8 and up.

I have a baby, toddler, preschooler - do they count in the price?

This trip is limited to ages 8 and up, and everyone counts in the price.

Should people with mobility issues go on this trip?

This is the first time we've done the trip, so I can't speak from personal experience. Based on my research, however, I don't recommend this trip for anyone with mobility problems or for anyone who uses a wheelchair.

Have any other questions? Please reply in this thread and I'll answer and add it to the list!
