Join us for our third Traveling Homeschoolers retreat in the Smoky Mountains! We’ll play games, make crafts, challenge each other as we climb an alpine tower and rock wall, brave a giant swing, sit around the campfire making s’mores, and more!
This retreat is great for the whole family. Grandparents, extended family, and empty-nest homeschoolers are welcome, too. Rooms, meals, and all scheduled group activities are included in the price.
The closest airport is in Asheville.
Lodging & Meals
Our rooms are similar to hotel rooms, but without the frills. They have two queen beds, telephone, air conditioning, and private baths. As with our other retreats, there are no TVs in the rooms. (We don’t miss them at all – we’re too busy playing, relaxing, and getting to know the other families in our group.)
Since we have two queen beds, the normal room occupancy is 4, but the max is 5-6 people if you have young children who can sleep in a portable crib and/or kiddie cot (4½ feet long). You’ll need a second room if you have more than 4 older children, teens, and adults in your party.
Meals are provided beginning with dinner on Thursday, June 8, through breakfast on Sunday, June 11. They are buffet-style, with vegetarian options. (Due to the buffet-style eating arrangements and increasing concerns regarding allergies, we won’t be able to accommodate alternative meals this trip.)
Cost and What’s Included
The prices below are per family sharing one room with two queen beds. (If you have young children, the lodge has cribs and kiddie cots (4½ feet long) for a maximum of 5-6 per room.)
Your total includes lodging for 3 nights, all scheduled group activities, meals starting from dinner on our arrival day through breakfast on our departure day, and tons of fun.

If you need two rooms, just combine the prices. For example, the total for a family of 7 would be $1,298 + $1,067 = $2,365.
All children (including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) must be listed on your registration due to lodge occupancy and activity limits. Children ages 3 and under are free (age verification will be required).
Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
Full payment is due upon registration and is payable through my online payment platform.
Your payment is refundable only if I have a family on my waiting list to replace yours, and a $100 per-person cancellation fee will be deducted from any refunds. Your spots aren’t transferable.
No replacements, roster changes, or refunds can be made after February 15 for any reason, so please register with this in mind. Your registration and payment acknowledge your understanding and agreement with my cancellation and refund policy.
